We had a fantastic family vacation at the AmericInn by Wyndham in Elkhorn! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and friendliness of the staff made us feel right at home. A special shoutout to Manager Nicole and the front desk team — their professionalism, warmth, and local recommendations truly made our stay memorable. The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable — just what we needed after long days of exploring the area. The pool was a hit with the kids, and the complimentary breakfast was a great way to start each morning. If you’re planning a trip to the Elkhorn area, I highly recommend staying here. It's clear the staff takes pride in making sure guests have a great experience. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

I can’t say enough great things about this location! The manager is absolutely amazing, and her staff reflects her leadership. During my stay, I witnessed how professionally and respectfully she handled a service animal situation, she did exactly what was right while remaining calm and courteous. Every time I’m in town, this is the location I choose. The team is always polite, friendly, and welcoming. You can truly tell they care about their guests. Highly recommend staying here!

This AmericInn Is so much better than the Burlington,WI one! The staff at this location are SO friendly! They have a nice BIG CLEAN well- Maintained pool and hot tub area(used to me open til midnight, now just 10pm i believe). They have a workout room (yay!), and any elevator!! (All things their sister location does not have/offer) Oh yeah! They have bathtubs (but bring your own rubber cover, i couldn't find a way to plug the drain to fill the tub)- sister location only offers walk in shower with half wall- slightly fancier version of high school shower experience... Elkhorn location has decent breakfast choices, better than you- know- who) but does not always offer hot eggs and sausage, so don't always bet on it. They're fridge door (milk, cream cheese, yogurt, etc) is not always closed fully- thanks other guests- so be aware and please close it thoroughly. Staff is extremely kind and helpful. Lobby is cute with nice sleek black furniture and Cafe height/style seating, or more lounge furniture such as couch and arm chair. Fireplace. Only negatives I've found are that cleaning staff needsto be a little more attentive to detail, especially behind the nightstands, the headboards, and mirrors. The chairs in the rooms look old and stained and I'm afraid to use them ... otherwise always a very pleasant stay!! Oh! I forgot to mention that they upgraded all their bathroom stuff to Dove product pump dispensers! Love it

This was a nice quiet hotel it seemed a little out dated but it was nice. For the amount I spent $680 for two nights I was disappointed in how worn down things were. The pull out couch you couldn't feel anything but springs I felt so bad for my kids. The tv choices were horrible only a couple kids channels and the one just played SpongeBob constantly. The Jacuzzi tub was perfect in our room. My son enjoyed the pool he liked that it was pretty big so he could have space to swim. The breakfast was ok options are limited on fresh items but the donuts were delicious. Food was the exact same options Saturday and Sunday which was a little disappointing. It was nice how close to the fairgrounds we were in driving distance. The cleaning crew could have done better as there were empty water bottles and fake petals or something under the pull out couch.

This hotel was a lifesaver for me and my daughter, after realizing that another hotel that was chosen by our group was absolutely horrid. The staff was very nice and friendly, and also very accommodating. I appreciate that our room was freshened by the cleaning staff every day. The only reason they did not get 5 stars was because the breakfast selection was very small and the cleaning staff should pay a little more attention when cleaning the rooms (I had some cobwebs on the ceiling). Other than that, I would highly recommend.

The staff was very nice and helpful. There's a clean, and comfortable living room area in the lobby. It has a fireplace which I personally thought was a nice touch. Upon entering my room, I was genuinely pleased with the cleanliness of it. Well made beds, spotless bathroom, and a refreshing scent. Overall a great stay. I recommend this one forsure!
